Cost: $150 for the license, and $90 for the celebrant —
This is a set fee and is paid to the celebrant on the day of the ceremony.
Your ceremony must be with a registry celebrant at an agreed-on location.
You must have it on a weekday, and not a public holiday. Between 9.00am and 5.00pm
Allow 3 working days to process your license application.
The license expires after 3 months.
You need to bring 2 witnesses to the ceremony.
The ceremony usually takes less than 15 minutes
